EMAIL BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATION

An E-mail consultation is ideal for people who don't have the time for a full behavioural assessment at home. It is also a very cost effective way of dealing with your pet's behaviour problem as it keeps our overheads to a minimum and therefore I can pass those savings onto you.

The consultation package includes a behaviour programme specifically tailored to your pet, for you to follow at home along with e-mail assistance for up to 60 days after the behaviour programme has been sent. If further assistance is required after 60 days, the price is just £10 per e-mail I reply to.

Simply book your consultation via the contact form and you will be emailed details of where to send the payment. Once your payment has been received, I will email you a behaviour questionnaire form for your completion. Please fill in this form with as much detail as possible regarding your pet and e-mail back to us.

It may take up to 14 days to compose the initial  behaviour programme depending upon how many additional questions I need to ask and how quickly you reply. Reports will be e-mailed as a word attachment only. If you would like to send video footage I will be pleased to view it if sent in DVD format via regular post.

Cost £90 (inc. 2 months email support)

If further emails are required after 2 months, they are charged at £10 per email.

NB: It is important that you visit your vet prior to booking a consultation, to rule out any underlying medical problem that may be causing the behaviour (this is especially important in cases of sudden onset aggression). It may be necessary in certain circumstances, for me to recommend a course of drug therapy alongside any behavioural programme, so liaising with your vet is essential.

Some examples of behaviour problems: Separation Stress, Aggression, Food/Object Guarding, Tail/Shadow Chasing, Noise Phobias, Predatory Behaviour (chasing cars/bikes/people/animals), Fears/Anxieties.

Please note: If your pet is aggressive to people or other dogs, this will require a home consultation as a full risk assessment needs to be carried out in the interests of safety. This is not something that can be dealt with via e-mail.
