 If your dog (or cat) has something interesting to occupy his mind, he is less likely to present with behaviour problems associated with boredom or being left alone.

The first toys made by Kong can be stuffed with food treats or your dog/cat's meal ration to keep him occupied. The action of chewing releases the brain chemical serotonin, also called the 'happy hormone'. This helps to calm your pet in situations he may otherwise find stressful, such as when visitors arrive or when owners leave the house.

Your dog or cat has to either slide or remove covers to access the food treats below. I feed my dog her meals from these toys and she loves the challenge, which provides her with mental exercise. Much more fun than being fed from a bowl!
